Capoeira Angola Palmares
Rooted in Tradition. Committed to Community.
Open to All.
Capoeira Angola Palmares Orlando is part of one of the world’s largest Capoeira Angola movements, founded by the legendary Mestre Nô in 1979, with schools spanning nearly every continent.
Our mission is to share the profound art of Capoeira Angola with the Orlando community through martial arts, music, cultural education, outreach, and mindfulness.
At our school, we honor the legacy of this Afro-Brazilian tradition while creating a space that is inclusive, welcoming, and transformative, a space where students of all backgrounds can learn, grow, and express themselves with integrity.
We stand firmly against all forms of discrimination and oppression. Our foundation is built on focus, discipline, respect, and the belief that each student’s personal journey is worthy of support and care.
Axé and welcome.

What is Capoeira Angola?
Capoeira Angola is an Afro-Brazilian art form that weaves together movement, music, ritual, and resistance. Born from the survival strategies of enslaved Africans in Brazil, Capoeira is more than a martial art — it is a living, breathing cultural tradition.
In Capoeira Angola, we move with intention. We listen. We play. We remember.

Accessible Training for All
We offer affordable drop-in and monthly rates, with special family pricing for parents and youth (13+) who wish to train together.
While there is a cost to support the sustainability of our work, we are committed to community access. If financial barriers exist, please reach out—exceptions and assistance can be made available.
