Meet your Professor

Professor Peixe started his journey on the Capoeira path in the 1990s. In 2019, he founded Capoeira Angola Palmares Orlando, grounded in rhythm, resilience, and cultural respect. Guided by the teachings of Mestre Nô and Mestre Nozinho, he blends movement, music, and mindfulness to serve both his community and the tradition.

A Journey Through Movement, Music, and Meaning

In our Capoeira Angola classes, each rhythm and movement becomes a dialogue—a conversation with history, culture, and self.

Beginners will be introduced to the foundational movements, musical elements, and philosophy of Capoeira Angola as taught by Mestre Nô. The focus is on understanding the movements, moving with intention, fostering awareness, coordination, and connection.

More advanced students will deepen their practice, exploring the strategic layers of the game and the nuanced expressions along with deepening their understanding of how the wisdom found in this ancestral cultural art applies to life outside the roda.

Our skilled and supportive instructors create a space that is both welcoming and transformative. Whether you are stepping into your first roda or returning to refine your craft, this is more than a class, it is a chance to grow, reflect, and become part of a global Capoeira community.
